ST. AUGUSTINE’S SCHOOL, KALIMPONG
HOSTEL
Dear
Parents/Guardian,
Though
the rules have been clearly defined
before the admission is taken to the
School Hostel, it has been observed
for a certain period of time that
the inmates tend to break the rules
frequently. You are kindly requested
to instruct your child to follow the
hostel routine strictly. Please note
some instructions to be followed
from the the year 2010.
-
Any
boy found leaving the school
campus without permission from
the concerned authorities for
any reason; will be suspended
for a period of 15 days and this
will be recorded in his personal
file as well. This will be
observed strictly as it concerns
the security of the child.
-
Any
sort of answering back,
quarreling with the care takers
of the hostel or physically
challenging the care takers of
the hostel administration will
not be tolerated. The boy will
be asked to leave the hostel and
the school immediately.
-
The
boy must return to the Hostel on
a prescribed day and the time
mentioned. Defaulters will be
charged a fine of Rs. 1000 if
the delay has not been approved
by the school authority.
-
Studies being the ultimate duty
of a boarder, any escapism in
study, either missing it or
avoiding it; the boarder would
be warned sternly and the
Parents (only parents) are asked
to meet the Principal the next
time the boy is taken home/out.
-
Personal Expenses is emergency
fund for the boarders. Only
necessary fund will be allotted
as personal expenses. The
personal expenses to be
deposited in the Account Section
of the School office and the
receipt to be collected for the
same.
-
The
hostel fee structure has been
revised from the Academic year
2010 as it was very necessary..
